Removing Rear Seats from a Volkswagen Golf 4

Unlike many modern cars where removing the seats is quite a hassle, on the Volkswagen Golf 4 it is a piece of cake, a really simple and quick procedure. As shown in the video, in front of the rear seat base, there is a strap that you need to grip and pull towards the front of the car, extracting the seat base from its location. Now lift it and unclip the metal clips located behind it. For the seat backs, lower them by pulling the lever near the headrest and unclip the attachment with a flat screwdriver.
