In addition to the knob, the spare part also includes the leather cover for the lever as well as the fixing frame. The replacement is very simple: just unhook the leather cap from the base and turn it upwards to reveal the metal fastening strap; therefore unhook the clamp with a pincer (it can also be cut as there is usually a new one in the kit) and pull the knob upwards. Then insert the new knob, orienting it correctly, hook the fastening clamp and reposition the cover, making the frame adhere along the edges.
