What to do when the boot of a Volkswagen Golf won't open?

It can happen that a boot suddenly gets stuck and refuses to open. Today, we discuss this issue in a Volkswagen Golf. You need to perform some simple manual operations, which will surely resolve the problem. If you cannot quickly solve it yourself, consider having it checked by your trusted garage. To manually unlock the boot, first lower the rear seats forward to access the inside of the boot. You will see two recesses with two screws in total. Remove the screws with a suitable screwdriver. At this point, lever the panel to remove it, creating the necessary space to reach the boot lock. You will notice a small metal arm in the lock; push it to the right to realign it. This should resolve your problem.
