Instructions for Removing the Car Radio

Model: Volkswagen Caddy MK 3, 2K - Years 2003-2020

To remove the car radio, first remove the plastic trim around the radio itself: it is simply clipped in, so leverage along the edges to unclip it (use a plastic lever). At this point, unscrew the fixing screws of the radio located at the four corners and pull it forward while disconnecting the relevant connectors. Before disconnecting, however, it is advisable to check that you have the activation code, which is absolutely essential for subsequent power-ups; otherwise, you will end up with a radio that is no longer usable.
