How to remove the plastic covers of the Tiguan mirror? Start by prying between the edge of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Pry until the plastics detach from the mirror (disconnect the power cable).

Once the mirror is removed, use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws and disconnect the upper and lower mirror cover. Replace the damaged mirror covers with new ones.

Refit all the mirror cover pieces.
