How do you remove the mirror on a Tiguan? This guide shows the disassembly of the mirror and all the cover pieces. Pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Continue to pry until the plastics detach from the mirror (disconnect the power cable). Once the mirror is removed, detach the plastics to disconnect the upper mirror cover and then the lower one. Replace the mirror cover plastics once the damaged ones are removed. If you wish to replace it, remove the indicator light.
