Removing the Dashboard on Volkswagen Transporter T5

Model: Volkswagen Transporter T5, MK 5 - Years 2003-2014

To remove the upper and central grille of the dashboard, simply pull it by hand and disconnect the underlying connector. Once done, you can unscrew the two T20 Torx screws that are now accessible and then extract the radio screen (use a plastic wedge for assistance), disconnecting the connectors at the back. Now that the radio screen is removed, you can also take off the trim by gently pulling it by hand in all areas. Next, remove the lower drawer and unscrew the various Torx screws, both central and on the side parts of the dashboard, to complete the disassembly.
