In this video tutorial, learn how to remove the engine cover or protective casing on the Volkswagen Golf 1.6 FSI MK5 in simple and quick steps. First, open and lift the bonnet of your car; then, to remove the cover, disconnect the two sensors, including the mass airflow sensor, located on the right side, as shown in the video. At this point, also remove the intake hose found at the front, and then take off the engine cover; for reassembly, simply follow the reverse procedure!
