How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Volkswagen Caddy 1.6 TDI?

To replace the timing belt on a Volkswagen Caddy 1.6 TDI, you must first remove some obstructing parts in the engine bay, such as the windscreen washer reservoir. Next, you will need to remove the wheel and the corresponding wheel arch liner on the passenger side to access the pulley located at the bottom of the engine. This will be protected by a cover, which must be removed by taking off the part accessible from underneath the car and the part accessible from the engine bay. At this point, loosen the pulleys and free the belt to replace it with a new replacement part.
