In today's video we will find out how to remove and replace the starter motor on the first generation Volkswagen Touareg, with 3.0 TDI V6 engine. First we are going to remove the upper engine protection; we find the starter motor on the lower left side. At this point we remove the air filter box cover and the two lower aluminum sleeves, as shown in the video. Now we first disconnect the battery and lift the car to unscrew the starter motor screws, disconnecting the electrical connector; follow the video to the end for replacement!
