The guide shows how to remove the rear bumper and taillights of the Volkswagen Golf Mk4. The first step is to remove the trim panels in the luggage compartment to expose the rear of the lights. From the left side, unscrew the three fixing screws of the light; a screw is hidden by the radio amplifier holder. At this point it is possible to rotate the light towards the outside to remove it and disconnect the electric cable. For the right rear light, after having unscrewed the two fixing bolts, it is possible to remove it by carrying out the same operation done on the left; pay attention as there is a fixing clip in the lower part of the light. At this point it is possible to unscrew the Torx fixing screws of the bumper. At this point it is possible to remove the bumper.
