How to Remove the Outside Temperature Sensor on the Volkswagen Golf 5 - Jetta

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

In today's tutorial, we will go through the steps to remove and replace the outside temperature sensor on the fifth generation Volkswagen Golf and the Jetta. First, locate the temperature sensor at the front of the car (behind the bumper); then proceed to remove the number plate holder by unscrewing the rear screws, which will also remove the trim as shown in the video. At this point, remove the sensor by disconnecting the electrical connector; replace it with the new one and reassemble everything!
