The fuses on the Volkswagen Transporter are divided within the dedicated fuse boxes located in the vehicle. This type of vehicle has three fuse boxes: the first is located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side, which can be opened with the appropriate key. The second fuse box is located in the engine compartment, and you will need to loosen the appropriate bolts to access it. The last 'box', which actually contains only one fuse, is located at the front of the passenger seat: the fuse in question is for the cigarette lighter.
