Replace the Key Battery on Volkswagen Golf 7

If the central locking on your Golf 7 stops working, it is likely that the flat battery inside the remote needs replacing. To carry out this operation conveniently at home, start by purchasing a pack of 2025 lithium batteries from a retailer. To access the space containing the old battery, open the remote into two sections using a flat tool or even a coin. Gently pry to detach the cover that hides the battery. Using a thin tool, remove the old battery (which must be disposed of correctly and not thrown in general waste), replace it with the new battery, and securely close the cover.
