How to Remove the Radio from a Volkswagen Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

To carry out this operation safely, disconnect the battery. Start by inserting the tip of a small flathead screwdriver into the slot at the bottom of the radio frame and lever it out. This will release the lower clips of the cover. To completely remove the cover, gently pull it off with your hands. Once the cover is removed, you will see the screws that secure the radio. Proceed to unscrew and remove these screws. This will free the radio, allowing you to extract it from its housing. Once extracted, to fully disassemble it, simply disconnect the rear connector. When you have disconnected the connector, you will have successfully completed the disassembly.
