If you think it's time to replace the battery in your VW Tiguan key, this video provides all the instructions in a few simple steps that will allow you to carry out the operation independently. First, you will need a CR2032 battery, so purchase one from a DIY store or supermarket.

To change the battery, extract the metal key from the remote using the designated button and apply force in the slot of its housing to open the cover containing the battery. Once the old battery is removed with the help of a flat screwdriver, insert the new one and close the cover properly.
