Replacing the Key Battery on Volkswagen Cars

Model: Volkswagen Tiguan 5N, MK 1 - Years 2007-2016

Press the designated button to release the manual key. Insert a small flat-head screwdriver into the slot of the remote to remove the cover. Perform this operation on both sides and Voila! Done! At this point, simply extract the battery from the remote and insert a new one that you have purchased. It is a CR2032 battery and can be easily found in hardware stores or large supermarkets. After inserting the battery, reassemble the remote in reverse order. Test the key's functionality with the new battery. Cheers!
