How to Replace the Key Battery on a Volkswagen Touareg?

If the remote key for the vehicle no longer opens it, you need to replace it by following the instructions below: first, press on the "W" logo with a finger and extract the emergency key, then use a sharp object to pry at the back to release the aluminium-coloured side profiles. At this point, under one of the two profiles, there is the battery compartment, and to open it, pry outward with a sharp object. Then remove the old battery and insert the new one (model CR2032). Finally, reassemble the components in sequence.
