Operation: How to replace the LEDs on the exterior mirrors of the Golf 7

In this video we will show you how to replace the LEDs of the Golf 7 exterior mirrors. First remove the two mirrors from their housing and unhook the cables from the collectors as shown in the video. Then unhook the upper casing by carefully removing it from its respective slots. Then unscrew the screws located inside the mirror to remove the lower part of the casing. Be careful to disconnect the turn signal leads that are connected to the manifold. Now remove the mask and the old LED and replace it with the new one as seen in the video. Reassemble everything by repeating the operation in reverse.
