Where Is the Battery in a Volkswagen Touareg?

The battery in a Volkswagen is located inside the cabin, under the driver's seat. To access it, push the seat all the way forward and loosen the bolts at the rear of the sliding rails. The same operation should then be performed in reverse to loosen the bolts at the front of the rails. This will allow you to lift the seat and disconnect all the connectors underneath. Now, you can lift the carpet and remove the protective cover to access the battery and potentially replace it.
