The guide shows you how to replace the Volkswagen Ameo Mk1 filter. The replacement procedure is very simple and fast and does not require special tools to complete the operation. After securing the vehicle, it is necessary to open the bonnet and locate the fuel filter housing. This element is located on the left side of the vehicle, behind the headlight nacelle. To extract the filter cartridge it is necessary to disengage the three plastic clips that hold the piece in place and remove it. Remove the two fuel pipes by pressing on the clips placed at the attachment of the two lines. Be careful as fluid may escape during this operation. Replace the new cartridge and install it in place by engaging the three plastic clips. Access the instrument panel a few times to have the filter filled before starting the engine.
