How to remove the centre panel of the Volkswagen Passat dashboard?

To remove the centre panel of the Volkswagen Passat dashboard, use a lever tool to lift the cover that encloses the radio and then the climate control commands. This will allow you to unscrew the 20 Torx screws that secure the panel in its housing. By doing this, you can pull out the climate control commands and disconnect the connectors located at the back. Once the old panel has been removed, you can insert a new one, which should be secured with screws and covered with its trims.
