Volkswagen Passat - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Passat 3C, B6 - Years 2005-2010
Part: Air conditioning controls
Operation: How do I remove the central dashboard panel of the Volkswagen Passat?

In order to remove the central panel of the dashboard of the Volkswagen Passat you need to use an object that acts as a lever to be able to lift the cover that wraps first the car radio and then the air conditioning controls. In this way, it will be possible to unscrew the 20 torx screws that secure the dashboard inside its housing. By doing so, it will be possible to remove the climate control controls and disconnect the connectors located at the rear. Once the old dashboard has been removed, it will be possible to insert a new one, which will have to be fixed with the screws and covered with its plastic.
