How to Remove the External Handle on a Volkswagen Touran

To remove the external handle on a Volkswagen Touran, open the door and remove the rubber grommet located at the end of the door, near the external handle. Once the grommet is removed, you can unscrew the underlying screw, which will allow you to slide out the end part of the handle. Once this is removed, you can grasp the actual handle so that it can also be removed by disengaging the mechanism. Once the old handle is removed, a new one can be installed, with the corresponding end part that must be secured with the appropriate screw.
