In this tutorial, you will see how to open the remote for the Volkswagen Polo and replace the battery. This is a very simple operation; you only need a small flat screwdriver and, of course, a replacement battery, model CR2025. First, extend the emergency key by pressing the appropriate button, then insert the screwdriver tip into the indicated slot and lever it open to access the rear cover.

At this point, remove the old battery and insert the new one with the positive terminal facing you, as shown in the video.
