How to Upgrade the Radio in a Volkswagen Tiguan with Bluetooth Connection

Model: Volkswagen Tiguan 5N, MK 1 - Years 2007-2016

To remove the radio from a Volkswagen Tiguan, use a screwdriver to take off the upper left grille and the passenger airbag module. Disconnect the connector - remember not to turn on the ignition - then remove the outer trim. At this point, you can remove the 4 screws securing the radio and pull it out of its housing. Disconnect the rear connector. Attach the Bluetooth antenna to the central screw, allowing it to hang in the compartment. Now, you can screw the radio back in, reposition the trim, reconnect the airbag connector, and replace the grille. The job is complete. You now have Bluetooth connectivity on your radio.
