How to Replace the Fuel Pump in a Volkswagen Golf TDI?

As seen in this tutorial, removing the fuel pump in the Volkswagen Golf MK4 TDI is a very simple and quick task. Before proceeding, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for safety. Start by going to the rear of the vehicle, then remove the rear seat and lift the carpet on the right side. Next, open the fuel pump cover by removing the respective screws, disconnect the power connector and the two fuel hoses. Once done, unscrew the large outer ring and extract the pump. To fit the replacement, follow the reverse procedure and align the arrow with the indicated hole.
