In this tutorial, you will learn the main instructions for removing and replacing the fuel pump on a fifth-generation Volkswagen Golf with a 1.9 TDI engine. First, open the rear hatch and remove the rear seat by lifting it upwards. Next, remove the fuel pump cover and then disconnect the fuel line and the electrical connector, as shown in the video. Now, unscrew the pump collar to remove the pump; simply replace it with the new one, using the original spare part, and reassemble everything.
