How to disassemble the fuel pump in the Volkswagen Golf?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the fuel pump in the Volkswagen Golf, an extremely simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, we open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, in order to work in complete safety. We start by going to the rear side of the vehicle, then we grab the seat of the sofa, pull it upwards and separate it from the base. We then open the large circular cap by unscrewing the three screws, disconnect both the tubes and the connector, and unscrew the outer ring. At this point, we can remove the pump from the tank and install the replacement.
