How to Remove the Instrument Cluster of the Volkswagen Spacefox?

The instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Spacefox is not secured in its housing with screws or rivets: it is simply clipped into place with internal clips. Therefore, you can pull it out of its housing using a suction cup and gently pulling the cluster out after disconnecting the connector at the back. Once the old instrument cluster is completely removed, you can insert the new one by connecting its connectors at the back and clipping it back into place behind the steering wheel.
