Procedure to Replace the Cabin Filter on a Volkswagen Golf

To replace the cabin filter on a Volkswagen Golf 7, first purchase a new pollen filter. Next, get inside the vehicle, switch off the engine, and pull the handbrake. The pollen filter is located behind the glove compartment, so open the drawer and remove all items inside. Remove the fasteners at the top of the glove compartment by disconnecting the upper pins with a screwdriver; this allows you to lower the compartment completely. Now, remove the cover of the filter box and pull out the old filter element. Position the new filter according to the arrows on the filter itself.
