Installation of Fuel Cap Flap

Model: Volkswagen Bora MK 7 - Years 2005-2010

In case of a broken fuel cap flap, it can be replaced very easily, but keep in mind that the flap is secured with a hinge to the inner lining of the compartment where the fuel cap is located. Remove the fuel tank cap, unscrew the Torx screw that secures the inner lining of the cap compartment, and remove it, taking care to detach the overflow drainage tube (which collects and channels excess fuel that may spill from the cap). Then connect the drainage tube to the inner cover of the new flap, place it in its housing, and secure it with the respective screw.
