Since the fuel cap protection flap is opened using a button inside the passenger compartment, it may be useful to install a system that allows it to be opened simply by approaching the key to the flap itself. It is therefore necessary to disassemble the door complete with support and make a hole immediately behind the hinge to allow the passage of the receiver wires which must be glued inside the door itself. Then pass the cables inside the luggage compartment and, once the side covering has been removed, intercept the power supply wires of the interior light and those of the electric lock of the flap; using current taps, power the opening system control unit and connect it to the electric lock socket.
