First of all, it is suggested to carry out this maintenance with a cold engine. The EGR valve is located in the rear part of the engine: the first operation to be carried out is to disconnect the rubber sleeve that connects it to the intake duct; then the one connected to the membrane lung which controls the opening and closing of the valve. At this point, using a 5 mm hex wrench, unscrew the fixing pins of the exhaust manifold (which are located below) and then those fixing the valve itself to the intake manifold; finally, to complete disassembly, the small tube must be disconnected from the other lung.
