Volkswagen Bora - Video tutorial
Model: Volkswagen Bora
MK 6
- Years 1998-2005 A PCV valve is a useful device that is one of the oldest emission control components in most vehicles. This valve returns partially burned gases from the crankcase through the one-way valve back into the combustion chamber to be re-ignited. Once the valve cover has been identified, it can be replaced by disconnecting the PCV valve tube. The valve can be removed using your hands or even nose pliers. The new valve must be reconnected by reattaching the rubber hose of the intake manifold, aligning the outlet connection.
