Dismantling and Cleaning the EGR Valve

Many devices are used to reduce harmful emissions, including the EGR valve. The recycling of exhaust gases (in the context of internal combustion alternative engines) involves circulating a "small" portion (5-15%) of the exhaust gases from the exhaust manifold to the intake manifold, in order to reduce some of the pollutants present in the exhaust gases. Locate the valve and remove the connecting pipes by taking off the hose clips. Using a socket spanner, remove the sealing bolts at its base. Carefully remove the valve from its housing by rotating it back and forth until it comes free. Once extracted, you can either replace it or proceed with cleaning.
