In this video tutorial we can see how it is possible to replace the cabin filter in a Volkswagen New Beetle, following some simple steps: the first thing to do is to buy a new cabin filter from an authorized dealer; next step we have to get into the car, turn off the vehicle and apply the handbrake. The cabin filter in this car can be found inside the car, under the windshield; we must remove the top panel by exerting a slight pressure; with a T20 torx key we have to remove the six screws of the underlying panel; once the six screws have been unscrewed we must remove the panel and underneath we will find the old filter element; remove the old filter and clean the housing thoroughly. Position the new filter following the indications of the air flow; reposition the previously removed panels.
