The cabin air filter of the Volkswagen New Beetle is located inside the cabin, specifically within the upper dashboard. To replace the filter, it is necessary to remove the dashboard and the protective grille using a plastic lever and then a screwdriver.

Once the connector is disconnected, you can proceed to remove the filter containment grille and the filter itself. After cleaning the housing thoroughly, insert the new filter and reassemble the previously removed dashboard parts.

The cabin air filter should be replaced every six months.
