Replacement of Engine Air Filter

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012
Part: Air filter

Open the bonnet and locate the filter housing on the right side of the engine. Disconnect the air intake hose and then remove the housing by detaching it from the support. Remove the cover by unscrewing the two securing screws. Pull out the old filter and insert a new one. Before fitting the new filter, clean the interior of any dust deposits. Carefully reattach the air box, ensuring it fits perfectly with the cover. Refit the hose securely. Start the engine and check for proper operation.
