Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012
Part: Air filter
Operation: How to replace the air filter in a Volkswagen New Beetle 1.9 TDI

In this video tutorial we can see how it is possible to replace the air filter in a Volkswagen New Beetle 1.9 TDI, following some simple steps: the first thing to do is to buy an air filter from an authorized dealer; next step we have to get in the car, turn off the car and pull the handbrake. Lift the bonnet and secure it with a special rod, once the air filter box has been identified, we must remove with the help of a pliers the clamp that holds the intake pipe anchored to the filter box, remove the connector from the flow meter, disconnect the suction hose from the filter box; next we need to unscrew the fasteners of the filter box cover. Remove the cover and extract the old filter element from its seat; cover the intake pipe to prevent debris from ending up inside the combustion system, clean the housing and insert the new air filter; now we can reassemble all the parts by proceeding backwards.

How to reset the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208?

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple. We can do this in case the system shows signs of malfunction, freezes, or in any other case where a restart could solve the problem. To reboot, simply hold down the two keys located in the lower left corner of the computer at the same time. After a few seconds, the SMEG system display will switch off, the Peugeot logo will appear and the start-up procedure will start. We wait patiently for the restart to complete as it may take some time.
