Replacement of the cabin air filter of the New Beetle

A filter has been placed on the aspiration of the ventilation system of the New Beetle to prevent dirt and dust from entering the air conditioning system. To ensure the passage of clean air, we replace the filter element periodically. To do this, we slide and remove the central part of the dashboard at the base of the windshield, unscrew the two screws that secure the right section and remove it. Unscrew the eight screws that hold the panel below in place in order to access the old filter and remove it. Replace it with a new filter, put the panel back in place and secure it with its screws, then put the dashboard cover back in place.
