DIY Air Conditioning Recharge

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012

If the air conditioning is turned on and the air temperature from the vents is not cold enough, there may not be enough refrigerant gas in the system. It is advisable to have the system checked for leaks; however, you can top up the gas using a canister connected to the low-pressure line. Connect the canister valve to the line, start the engine, turn on the air conditioning, and press the valve to allow the gas into the system. Check that the air from the vents becomes colder.
