How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Polo?

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

To reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Polo, press and hold the 0.0/SET button located in the centre of the instrument cluster. While holding it down, turn the key to switch on the instrument cluster; the light with the spanner will still be illuminated. Therefore, you can release the 0.0/SET button and immediately press the OK button next to the one previously pressed. This will cause the light to turn off, and you can verify this by turning the instrument cluster off and then back on again.
