How to Reset the Service and Inspection Lights on a Volkswagen Polo with a Fully Digital Dashboard

To reset the oil service light on a Volkswagen Polo with a fully digital dashboard, follow these steps: get into the vehicle, close all four doors, and turn on the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Use the button located in the centre of the control panel on the right side of the steering wheel to scroll through the menu to "driving data" and select "Range". Press and hold for about 15 seconds. The menu will then position itself directly on "service". Use the "up/down" buttons to scroll to "reset oil service"; the system will ask if you want to reset the oil service: confirm. Scroll down to "inspection reset"; it will ask if you want to reset the inspection service. Confirm here as well. You can then return to the main menu and turn off the instrument cluster. Operations completed.
