How to Replace the Suspension Arms on a Volkswagen Golf 5

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the front wishbone on a Volkswagen Golf 5. First, lift the vehicle on a mobile ramp for safer working. Next, remove the front wheel using a 17mm socket. Now, remove the oil sump cover using a 12mm socket. Always wear PPE (personal protective equipment) while working. Using a 16mm socket, unscrew the fasteners connecting the ball joint to the arm. Now, using an 18mm socket, loosen the fastener for the suspension arm. Next, unscrew the rear fasteners of the suspension arm that connect it to the body and subframe. Using a crowbar, detach the arm.
