In this tutorial we can see how to replace the rear suspension bushing, also called "silent block", in the Volkswagen Golf 4. For this operation we will necessarily have to raise the car on a lift or with a jack, obviously taking all the necessary precautions . First of all we remove the wheel, then we release the brake cables, we disconnect the shock absorber from the suspension and the latter from the frame. At this point, using the special extractor or an equivalent system, remove the bush from the housing, insert the spare part and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
