In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the rear suspension bush, also known as a "silent block", on the Volkswagen Golf 4. For this operation, you must lift the car on a ramp or with a jack, taking all necessary precautions. First, remove the wheel, then disconnect the brake cables, detach the shock absorber from the suspension, and the suspension from the chassis.

At this point, using a suitable extractor or an equivalent system, remove the bush from its housing, insert the replacement, and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
