In the event of failure of the rubber damper of the suspension arm, it is often possible to purchase only the bushing rather than the entire oscillating arm in the after market; to carry out the replacement it is obviously necessary to remove the swinging arm of the suspension from the car and equip oneself with a system of bushings and a threaded bar to create a sort of extractor; then position the bushings and the threaded bar so as to press on the silentblok and extract it from its seat; proceed in the same way to insert the new one, perhaps lubricating the seat to facilitate insertion.
