Replacement of Silent Block on Wishbone

The failure of the silent blocks (rubber bushes) on the front suspension wishbones is a common issue. You can address this fault either by replacing the entire wishbone (which is available aftermarket at reasonable prices) or by opting for a repair that involves only the replacement of the bushes. In this case, you will still need to remove the wishbone and have a threaded bar, washers, and appropriate diameter hole saws for removing the old bushes and inserting the new ones. Position the hole saws and the threaded bar to create a proper extractor: tightening the nut will push the smaller cup to extract the bush from its seat. Use the same technique in reverse to insert the new bush.
