When the bushings (silent blocks) of the oscillating arm of the front suspension give way, driving on the bumpy becomes particularly noisy without neglecting the loss of stability of the front axle. It is possible to buy in the after market only the arm repair bushings which, among other things, are of higher quality than the original ones as they are made of polyurethane, a much more resistant material. Once the swinging arm has been disassembled, it is necessary to equip yourself to extract the old bushings and insert the new ones: just get a threaded rod, a fairly thick washer and a bowl of suitable diameter to build a do-it-yourself extractor and then replace the bushings.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
