When the bushes (silent blocks) of the front suspension wishbone fail, the ride over uneven surfaces becomes particularly noisy, not to mention the loss of stability in the front end. You can purchase aftermarket repair bushes for the wishbone, which are of superior quality compared to the originals as they are made from polyurethane, a significantly more durable material. Once the wishbone is removed, you need to prepare to extract the old bushes and insert the new ones: simply obtain a threaded rod, a sufficiently thick washer, and a suitable diameter ball to create a DIY extractor and then replace the bushes.
