Suspension Arm Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003
Part: Control arm

The necessary tools are a ratchet spanner, a set of fixed spanners, an inserter, a torque wrench, and replacement arms. Lift the car on the ramp and remove the wheel to access the mechanics. Locate the suspension connection and proceed to remove it by first taking off the protective cover and then unscrewing all the bolts. Use a puller to push the bolts out of their seats after thoroughly spraying them with penetrating oil. Completely remove the shock absorber to easily replace the arms. Reassemble the rest of the mechanics that were previously removed.
