To remove the rear seat from a Volkswagen Touran, pull the lever on the side of the backrest to fully lower it. Once the backrest is lowered, pull the lever at the back of the seat to position it vertically, freeing it from the pins at the back. This will allow you to slide it off the pins that also secure it at the front, enabling complete removal: after removal, you can reinstall the seat.
